APPLICATION & FUNCTION
Minoxidil is a well-established topical agent primarily recognized for its application in androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss). It functions as a potassium channel opener and a vasodilator, which is believed to stimulate hair follicles, prolong the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle, and promote hair regrowth. It is widely used in hair growth serums, topical solutions, and foam formulations.
